Open Mic Night Info

So you think you have what it takes to make people laugh? Helium holds its Open Mic Night every Tuesday at 8PM, open to both new talent and seasoned comics. To sign up, visit our web site for a full 24-hours starting at NOON the Wednesday after Open Mic and ending at NOON on Thursday. Comics signing up should prepare 3 minutes of material, and be patient with the process, as we get over 100 sign-ups every week.

Should you not make the initial list, you will have a second chance to sign up in-person at Helium Comedy Club beginning at 6PM and ending at 7:15PM the actual day of Open Mic. This list accounts for almost half of the 20-30 comics that go on every week. The final list will be posted at 7:30PM in the club that evening, and is drawn by random lottery with priority given to the first people to sign up that evening.

Please note that you will not be able to sign up in person earlier than 6PM. Take advantage of this opportunity before the show to network with other comedians.
