Helium Presents: Jessica Michelle Singleton
Internationally touring comedy phenom, Jessica Michelle Singleton has gained worldwide fans with her live headlining performances from North America and Europe to Africa and Asia, as well as her debut comedy album, “Please. Don’t. Leave. Me.,” which reached #1 on iTunes and was considered for the "Best Comedy Album" Grammy.
Jessica Michelle is a paid regular at The World Famous Comedy Store where she can be seen performing whenever she's in Los Angeles between touring. She's the idiot host of her popular podcast, "Ignorance is #Blessed." She is a recurring guest on "The Stephanie Miller Show" on Free Speech TV and SiriusXM. Her comedy can be heard regularly on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy Channel and she has been a featured guest on Playboy TV's "Talking Dirty" and Ari Shaffir’s “Skeptic Tank.”
JMS was the first English-speaking female to perform at the prestigious Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland. Recently, JMS completed a sold-out European tour on the heels of the debut of her critically-acclaimed one woman show, "Codependent Arising," at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
JMS co-hosts several series' on the comedy channel DumbWits, which she has created with friend Buddy Hutton, including the popular series "Twitch Makes A Movie," a live-stream interactive sketch show that utilizes viewers suggestions to create, write, shoot, and release a tiny movie in 5 hours.
Jessica Michelle Singleton has a unique style of comedy, which delivers in a stream of consciousness flow. She combines introspective observations and vulnerable personal stories, coupled with ideas referred to as a hyperactive, weird, and slightly deranged imagination, to make people laugh so hard they cry at things they didn't even know they could smile about.

Special Event: Zach Martina Live Album Recording
Thus far, life has exceeded the expectations of Zach Martina. He certainly never thought some stranger would be reading to find out more about him but here we are. Here’s what you need to know — he loves his wife, his daughters are a constant source of inspiration, and his hair is real. Also worth noting — he’s not angry, he’s just passionate about the inane topics he chooses to ponder. HE’S NOT SCREAMING; HE’S MAKING SURE YOU HEAR HIM!!!
Zach brings his big energy to crowds across America, delivering dark jokes in a delightful manner while pointing the finger of blame at everyone except himself. You’ve heard him on "Dumb People Town," "The Bonfire," and his debut album, “Skunkman,” spinning regularly on Sirius/XM. He’s performed as part of Rock on the Range & the Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laughfest (among others) and has shared the stage with Rory Scovel, Big Jay Oakerson, the Sklar Brothers, Chad Daniels, & Kyle Kinane.
He hopes you like him — then maybe more people will like him and those closest to him will stop calling comedy his “hobby.”

Helium Presents: Akaash Singh
The first time Akaash Singh performed in front of his friends in high school, he bombed. Of course, it’s a little more disheartening when the laughs don’t come while you happen to be on the mic at The Comedy Store in L.A.
You know, The Comedy Store, stomping grounds of Pryor, Seinfeld, Leno and… Singh? Akaash bombed there so badly that it was, well, almost funny. Before that night, he hopped on stage once every few months and called himself a comedian. After that night, he developed a singular focus on scrapping for as much stage time as possible while writing incessantly.
He went on a national tour in 2010--from D.C. back to Cali, making certain to stop in his home state along the way with a performance at “The Festival of India” at The University of Texas. The show was big enough that it earned Akaash his first write up, and that write up was as effusive as anything he could have written himself. He could now see the hard work was yielding results.
He earned his first television appearance in 2011. He was one of a small handful of comedians selected to be a panelist on MTV’s “New Year’s Bash 2011,” making light of the celebrity news we all take too seriously. Then he piloted for a series with MTV Desi, which was approved for a full season. In 2013, He was chosen as a cast member on MTV2’s “Wild N Out.” In 2014, it was HBO’s “The Leftovers,” as well as MTV2’s "Guy Code." And more recently, he has just finished filming for the second season of MTV2’s “Joking Off.”
