After selling out last time David Nihill is back with his new show, Shelf Help. Leaving Dublin, Ireland where he was born and raised until the age of 22, David got drunk on travel and never quite hit sobriety of it. He has lived and worked in twelve countries and visited over seventy. His shows draw on his wide travels, cultural observations, attempts at language study, (occasional) international drinking session(s) and being a mildly confused immigrant.
David is the winner of the prestigious annual San Francisco Comedy Competition, (previous finalists include Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres and Dana Carvey) and runner up in the Moth’s largest US Grandslam storytelling competition. All shows are 21+ (18+ if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 30). All accompanied 18+ guests will be wrist-banded or stamped, and no alcohol will be served at the table. All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building.
Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, which can be fulfilled with any food or drink items from the menu. Food and drinks purchased in the bar and lounge do not count towards the two-item minimum.
Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $3.50 charge per item not purchased. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!
- General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
- Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.
Please Note: We do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee seats in a specific location.
- While we cannot guarantee seats together, General admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.
- Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.
